Canon Michael O'Dea
Our
Parish Priest

Archbishop Kevin appointed Father Michael a Chapter Canon of St. George's Cathedral. This was an honour for our Parish and for the Croydon Deanery.
A Chapter Canon meets with the other Canons to pray and act as a confidential forum for discussion and consultation with the Archbishop.
Canon Michael O'Dea studied Spirituality at the Angelicum in Rome, specialising in the Ignatian School.

His Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI



Pope Benedict XVI to visit Britain in 2010

It will be the first Papal visit to Britain since Pope John Paul II's trip in 1982. The trip is to be the first official state visit by a Pontiff.
Dates have been confirmed of 16th to 19th September.



The Salesian Sisters will be leaving Streatham after 36 Years
The Salesian Sisters will be leaving Streatham at the end of August. There will be several events held to celebrate their service to the local community.



Pilgrimage to the Holy Land & Mount Sinai

Canon Michael is leading a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land from 17th to 29th November 2010. For details and booking forms please contact Mrs Cilla Hermann or Canon Michael.



World Youth Day Madrid 2010

World Youth Day Madrid 2010 will take place from Saturday 14th August to Sunday 22nd August. Travel as part of a Diocesan group and meet other young people to prepare and experience World Youth Day.
